Eastern Shallows, southeast of Ko Huyong, is the first dive site you will approach coming from Phuket. Although many live aboard tours immediately continue north this reef is considered to be one of the healthiest in the Similans. Huge colonies of coral, staghorn corals, sweetlips, groups of surgeonfish and many other common reef fish will be spotted here. Eastern Shallows is not deep, perfect for snorkellers and an excellent start for your Similan dive experience.
