Donald Duck Bay is a shallow and low current protected bay in the north of Ko Similan, Thailand. This bay, also known as Campbell's Bay, M-16 Bay and Ao Guak (Shoe Bay), is a popular night stop for day tours and live-aboards alike as there is a camping area complete with a National park rangers station. A prominent feature is a large granite boulder that teases gravity and seems to be falling at any time. Another high raised rock has given the bay its name and looks like the head of cartoon character Donald Duck. Its western side is considered to be a bit more interesting because of its underwater landscape of larger boulders.

The bay is situated in such a way that extremely nutritient waters are flowing into the bay which brings all kinds of algae, plankton and human food such as bread and fruits. This has resulted in a highly developed dive area where several soft corals have grown to spectacular sizes. Turtles will come to the end of the boat expecting to be fed with bananas and other human delicious treats. Don't join these fools who have no idea how they influence the life of the animals in the long run. Other marine life which is common for divers and snorkellers to spot in the bay are nudibranches, groupers and nurse sharks. The bottom is full of small natural rubble heavily stuffed with species such as bull crabs, octopus, hermits, triton shells, and emperor shrimp especially during your night dive. It is a very healthy site with a lot of fish, but not the most exciting dive site in the Similans.
