Specifications: Be prepared to handle the current, plan this dive well. The strong current makes this a perfect drift dive. This dive has a lot of marine life. This dive site is also perfect for snorkeling.

Japanese Gardens or Aow Song is a dive site just west of Ko Nang Yuan inside Bay 2. Its name is coming from its tearing plate and staghorn coral which resembles to the way they create gardens in Japan. With only a maximum depth of twelve meters it is a perfect location for training divers, beginners and snorkellers. When the currents are strong you can make a spectacular drift dive starting at dive site Hin Daeng better known as Nang Yang Pinnacle or Red Rock. Marine life is colourful with many reef fish including butterfly, banner fish, angels, parrotfish and some turtles. Sponges, mushroom, table and brain corals are some of the reasons that make this dive absolutely stunning. Some of the smaller pelagic such as trevally and fusilier can be spotted as well.

I've dived this site many many times but there are lots of other dive sites in this area a lot better than this. What about twins, white rock, chumporn pinnical. I feel these dive sites should be mentioned not really japanese gardens although yes for beginners
