Christmas Point is one of the most northern dive sites you can visit while diving in the Similans. It is located at the northwest of Ko Bangu Island and is one of the most dramatic dives you can do. It starts at a sandy area with rubble located at a depth of twenty meters. From there you go deeper and you will be diving along passageways, under arches and through a maze of swimmthroughs. Boulders are, as with most dive sites in the Similans, some of the key features covered in the best soft and hard corals and surrounded with fish.
Christmas Point is a great place to view manta rays and nurse sharks. You will encounter large predators like jacks and trevally, but also many smaller coral fish such as surgeonfish and parrotfish. It is a perfect multi level dive with something to see at all depths.
