Ao Chaweng or Chaweng Beach is the most popular shore dive off Ko Samui with some nice aquatic reef fish.

Ao Chaweng is on the north-eastern side of Ko Samui near Ao Chaweng Beach. This beach is dotted with dive shops, bars, guesthouses and restaurants. It is one of the most popular and crowded beaches around the island. It also offers the best shore diving with some beautiful marine and coral life at a nearby reef at only a five minute swim outwards. Snorkellers can just grab their mask and fins and take a look as well since the reef has an average depth of only five meters.
