North Tip features big limestone rock formation similar as the ones found on the Similan Islands. It is often referred to as mini Similand because of this. It is a small wall like pinnacle going down to forty meters deep at places swarmed with schooling fish. The northern currents are often strong which attracts manta rays, the main attraction of this dive site. Other creatures worth paying attention to are the large bullethead parrotfish that dwell here in large numbers, the black banded sea snake and huge moray eels peeking out of their holes. Some of the pinnacles almost reach the surface and are covered in green sheet corals, bottle-brush corals and porites. It is a great dive site and if you are lucky you will see some of the creatures which are not common sight to divers.
