Ko Yung Pinnacle is a thirty meter high pinnacle on the northeast shores of Ko Yung (Mosquito Island) starting at 36 meters deep. Not many tour operators visit this area as it is very hard to reach and there are not many other excellent places to choose from. This rocky pinnacle is phenomenal with loads of purple and pink soft corals, some excellent delicate whip corals and huge sea whips. A spectacular sight is its rare black coral that is enriched with some sort of white polyps. Rays and sharks are common sights and often rest on the ocean floor. Currents and visibility can make and brake the day. When lucky this quiet place has everything other sites have but lacks its crowds.
