The most southern tip of Beacon Reef and also of Koh Similan is a high current alternative dive site named Beacon Point. Depending on your starting point you will be diving among huge boulders on a white sandy bottom or something similar as Beacon Reef. Its underwater landscape has beautiful arches and swimthroughs, but also some extremely prolific and shallow coral formations. Being the southern most point of Koh Similan, you can often spot sharks, pelagic and several rays. Be careful not to drift around the corner and being missed by your boat crew.
