There are two very small islands west of Similan island Ko Miang, both named Similan Island No5 or Koh Payu. One exceptional dive site in between those two islands is Anita's Reef where you will find many common Similan inhabitants. The reef is a rather unprovocative and easy sandy slope dotted woth some spectacular coral bommies, boulders and coral patches. The coral is mainly made of table and staghorn corals, but some bottlebrush corals, sheet corals and knobbly finger corals can be seen as well. One particular coral head named 'whole roll of film rock' is known to house nudibranchs, stonefish and pipefish. On the sandy patches keep your eyes open for Khul's stingrays, garden eels peeking out of the sand and giant sea cucumbers. Many of the common reef fish such as puffer fish, angelfish, triggerfish, oriental sweetlips and trevally attacking with enormous speeds can be found near the coral formations.
