Best dive-season / How to get there: Generally dived from longtail boats from Ao Nang, along with Koh See or Koh Ha.

Koh Talu is a great dive site for beginners or to conduct training dives. On a day with good visibility, it can be a very nice dive site.

This dive site has several caves beneath the surface, some of which go all the way through the island. At low tide, you can snorkel or dive through the island (not recommended at high tide, as it is not possible to reach the surface). Lots of healthy hard and soft coral, shoals of butterfly fish, puffer fish, bannerfish and moorish idols—the usual for this area. It can be fun to swim through the island and then back around to the other side of the island.

About 2m beneath the surface, inside a shallow cave (near where the boats tie up), there are two resident seahorses. One is full-size and the other is a baby. Find them perched on seafans growing from the cave wall.
