Ko Rok Nai or Inner Rock is the first island you see coming from shore or Ko Lanta. It is possible to rent camping equipment from the ranger's office so spending the night is possible although not easy to arrange. You can buy some basics in the headquarters' shop, but don't expect any luxury. It is wise to bring all you think you need from shore. A very popular beach named Ao Man Sai Beach is rated as one of the top beaches in Thailand and well worth a visit.

In between Ko Rok Nai and Ko Rok Nok is a shallow channel which is often used by snorkelling tours, trainees and starting divers. Diving is most often started along its northern coast near a small cave. Coral is not as thriving as on most other Andaman Sea locations but some scarce species such as giant clams and seahorses are numerous here. Other marine species you can expect to see are black tip reef sharks that patrol the shallower reef structure, hawksbill turtles, western clownfish and some eagle rays out in the blue.
