The Koh Rang Marine Park is a group of small uninhabited islands just south of Koh Chang and north of Ko Kood offering superb scuba diving. The land is hilly filled with tropical rainforest protected by the Koh Chang National Marine Park. Several smaller islands such as Koh Tien, Koh Kra and Koh Yak are known as excellent diving and snorkelling locations. Ao Cho Bay and San Chao Beach are probably Ko Rang's best beaches with crystal clear water and perfect conditions for snorkelling and swimming.

You should contact the ranger on Ao Cho Bay if you decide to camp on the island. They can prepare some basic meals, sell fresh drinking water and have some toilets available. It is possible to book multiple day tours to the islands from Koh Chang but if you want to arrange things by yourself you will have to rent a private boat as there is no public transportation. The cheapest and fastest way to get there is in 40 minutes from Koh Mak. With moderate currents and some of the highest visibilities in the area, Ko Rang has enough spectacular dive sites around its shores making it a great diving destination.
