Koh Yak is a small rocky pinnacle with some excellent wildlife living on its shallow ocean floor. Many boulders, some excellent muck diving can be found and several species inhabit the rocks. Some of the fish and coral species you can see here are anemones, clownfish, stingrays, pufferfish, groupers and clams. Yak means huge in Thai, but it is not sure how this word has ever been connected to this small island, which can be circumnavigated in one long and shallow dive.
