Filmed December 2012 at the dive sites Beacon Reef, Eel Garden, Honeymoon Bay, Annikas Reef, Deep 6 and Baracuda Point. The Similan Islands (national park) are located in the Andaman Sea of Phang Nga Province north of Phuket in southern Thailand and is according to National Geographics one of the top 10 dive sites in the world. The waters are about 28 deg C and visibility around 70-100ft. There are plenty of fish live and I saw a blue Crown of Thorn, which is brown/green at the Grat Barrer Reef in Australia. Personally I feel the site is overrated if you have seen the Great Barrier reef. No colouful corals and less fish veriety.
